Victoria Falls

About This Project

Victoria Falls is a Nicholl Fellowship Award winning screenplay penned by black list writer – Matt Ackley.  Set in the tumultuous world of the 2001 Zimbabwean elections – where land reform is king – “Victoria Falls” follows the story of a young black Zimbabwean farmhand born into the white African world.  Defending his honour and the white Zimbabwean’s farm that he calls home, his loyalties are ultimately tested as the farm is pillaged, his country ripped apart and the classes go to war. Victoria Falls is currently in development stages and is scheduled for release in 2014.
